I’ve tried many different shoulder pads in my career and had been a long time user of those pink ‘cosmetic sponges’….until I recently switched over to the ArcRest. I liked the cosmetic pads for their comfort, and the freedom of movement that they allowed. The ArcRest achieves both these things and more! I admit that I was skeptical at first about the claims that it would help an instruments’ sound, but after trying the ArcRest on several different violins, I am a believer. The ArcRest may be relatively simple in design, but….it simply WORKS!
